Gecko Optimizer processes Shopify store data only to provide catalog auditing, AI-assisted optimization, queue management, and related app functionality requested by the merchant.

Information processed

The app may process store identity, product catalog fields, product images and metadata, Shopify authentication sessions, app configuration, scan results, and optimization records. OpenAI may process product data submitted for AI generation according to the configured service workflow.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate merchants, analyze product quality, generate recommendations, apply approved updates, provide support, maintain security, and operate the service.

Data retention and deletion

Application records are retained only as needed to provide the service and meet legal or operational obligations. Merchants may request deletion of eligible data by contacting support@geckooptimizer.com.

Security

Gecko Optimizer uses HTTPS, restricted application credentials, Shopify authentication, and hosting-provider security controls. No system can guarantee absolute security.
